El día de hoy, y después de la gran batalla del 31 de Diciembre al 1 de Enero, por fin logré recuperarme en un 50%, bueno, ya podía caminar, ja. Así que me dispuse a recuperar también mi fuerza destructora y demoledora, pero lo primero era recuperar la inspiración PUNK. Así que primero puse un disco de los RAMONES, aunque la verdadera inspiración vino cuando puse un disco de esa gran banda japonesa llamada: MELT-BANANA…

Guaaauuuu! Que poder, que energía de estos tíos, la incansable e incomprensible voz de YAKO. Escuché y bailé todas las rolas del SCRATCH OR STITCH. La banda se puede dar cuenta de que trata el disco desde que escuchan la primera rola PLOT IN A POT, una especie de: cuá cuá cuá, cuá cuá cua´, cuá cuá cuá, cuá cuá cuá, cúa cúa, cúa cúa. –en fin, está buenísimo-.

Algunos definen a MELT-BANANA como una gran banda de PUNK, otros los ubican en el NOISECORE, tal vez sean los dos, junto con otros estilos, lo que sí es cierto, es que estos tíos son los precursores de ésta línea de música ruidosa y alocada.

En 1993 tomaron el nombre de MELT-BANANA, y a partir de allí, han sacado 5 discos de estudio y uno en vivo, además de 19 EP´s.

Y guaaaauu!! ¿a dónde llegaremos? Me encontré un video de MELT-BANANA tocando con JELLO BIABRA, el cual, junto con el guitarrista East Bay Ray, formaron a los Dead Kennedys.
